BUSHENYI – Police in Bushenyi district are having a 15 year old boy in custody for allegedly defiling a 6 year old girl.
The supect is Behangana Rogers and the victim is Ninsiima Beatrace a daughter of Tumukunde Alice all residents of Migina cell, Ryeise parish in Ibaare Subcounty.
Its alleged that on the 19th 2023 the suspect asked the victim to have sexual intercourse and that after he would give her bread to which the victim accepted. She was later seen bleeding by a one called Eveyln who then called the mother of the victim who had gone for prayers who then rushed the victim to BB Health Center Ishaka for immediate medical attention and she was also put on PEP. A day after, areport was made to Kashenyi Police station vide sd ref 05/20/05/2024 and later registered at Bushenyi CPS as CRB 444/2024.
Police took immediate action and visited the scene, secured statements from the complainant and the first respondent among other witnesses. The victim was examined on PF3A and the suspect who is already in custody examined on PF 24A.
The Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident to our reporter stressing that serious inquries are still on going about this matter.

This is an action resulting from negligence of parents.A 6 yr old child is still vulnerable to many things!!!why did they go to church without living anyone to look on the young one??? otherwise keen intervention should be done by the relevant authority to prove the authenticity of the allegations
