ISHAKA, BUSHENYI — Mr. Nshemereirwe Aloysius, Chairman NRM Central Division and Chairperson of Chairpersons NRM Bushenyi District, says the NRM has taken an early lead in Central Division with 11 out of 31 LC1 Chairpersons winning unopposed.
Mr. Nshemereirwe was speaking to our reporter on Friday, 24th July 2026 in Ishaka as he headed for a live talk show on 87.6 Crane FM Radio Ishaka.
He said the unopposed wins show growing support for the NRM in Central Division ahead of the elections.
He called on people to continue supporting the NRM for its developmental initiatives, and for peace, unity and prosperity in Uganda.
He noted that the NRM is the ruling party in Uganda and in January 2026, it won the general elections with a landslide.
