ISINGIRO, UGANDA – In a bizarre incident, a man in Kahirimbi, Isingiro district, was rescued from a terrifying ordeal involving spitting cobras that appeared near his house and in his bedroom. According to residents, the man, identified as Ayebazibwe, had been acting strangely, claiming that snakes were everywhere he went.
The drama began when Ayebazibwe was found slaughtering a cow in a farm near his home. Neighbors were alerted by his cries for help, and when they arrived, they found a big brown cobra near the half-slaughtered cow. Despite trying to kill the snake, it kept disappearing, and they found another one in Ayebazibwe’s bedroom.
The situation became increasingly bizarre, with Ayebazibwe singing and asking someone to come and take the cow. It was later revealed that he had stolen the cow from Kabuyanda, also in Isingiro district.
A friend of Ayebazibwe’s called a spiritual healer, Mzee Ssalongo Zigagwana on his numbers 0774771113 and 0704413562, who instructed them to give the cow to a resident and for Ayebazibwe to beg the owner of the cow for forgiveness and promise to pay back within 24 hours.
The alleged stolen cow
The owner of the cow charged Ayebazibwe 3 million shillings, which he paid by selling part of his land. Ayebazibwe later met Mzee Ssalongo to thank him for saving him from his troubles and promised never to steal again.
