BUSHENYI – The Police in Bushenyi district are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 23 year Old man.
The deceased is Katwesigye Emmanuel a resident of Katerero 1 village, Buyanja Parish in Kyeizooba Sub County, Bushenyi district who was found dead on 15th April 2024 at around 8am.
Its reported that Musimenta a pupil and son of Bamukwaya Charles was going to school and found the body of the deceased lying along the footpath approximately 200 metres from his (deceased’s) home. Musimenta informed his father who notified GISO and the matter was reported to Mwengura Police post for further action.
A case file of suspected murder was registered vide CRB: 305/2024, crime scene visited by the SOCO and a team of homicide ofdicers who documented it and conveyed the body of the deceased to KIUBTeaching Hospital Ishaka for postmortem on Pf 48A and pf 48B.
The Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson SSP Martial Tumusiime confirmed the incident to this website stressing that the two people that’s Tumwine Charles and Oyesigye Ronald who were last seen with the deceased have been apprehended to assist in investigations.
