KANUNGU – A 30 year Old practicing Doctor has officially declared that he has decided to stand on the post of Member of Parliament Kinkizi East Constituency in Kanungu district.
The Parliamentary seat is currently held by the minister for Information, Communication and Technology Hon Dr Chris Baryomunsi.
Dr Byamukama Elex 30 years a mukiga by tribe resident of Nyakabungo in Rubimbwa, Kirima Sub County says its the right time to represent his people in the Parliament of Uganda.
He is a son to Mr Sunday Edward and late Kyampiir e Rosette. He finished his primary studies at Tophill Primary School then did his O’ level at San Giovani School Makiro and then finished A’level at Brain Storm School Kabale before joining Kampala International University (KIU) in 2017 for Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB).
Currently, Dr Alex Byamukama is practicing at Hoima Regional Refferal Hospital as he is in the last year at Kampala International University (KIU).
Speaking to this website, he beleives that through the listening , administrative, planning and co-operative skills gained from different environments and proffessions he can transform Kinkizi East into a more developed community.
