Rugyeyo, Kanungu – Police in Kanungu District are investigating the death of Frank Tusingwire, 42, who was found dead by hanging on April 26th, 2025.
The incident followed a domestic dispute the previous night with his wife, Constance Twikirize, who had left their home in Nyamutundane cell, Kashojwa parish, Rugyeyo sub-county, with their children. Upon returning home, she discovered Tusingwire hanging in a rope in the visitor’s room.
Police from Rugyeyo post responded, collected evidence including the rope, conducted a post-mortem examination at the scene, and released the body to the family for burial.
The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, ASP Elly Maate, confirmed the events.
