Greater Bushenyi, Uganda – A 35 Year Old Man has committed suicide in Omukibaale Cell, Rutooma Ward, Rwentuuha Town Council in Bushenyi District.
The deceased is Naturinda Apollo who has been a Security Guard working with Askar Security Services, resident of Rwamurungura Cell, Kalera North Ward, Kashozi Division, Sheema Municipality in Sheema District.
It’s alleged that on Tuesday 11th February 2025, Chairman LC1 Omukibaale Cell Mr Atahaba Emis was informed by Buregyeya’s workers that there was a body of an unidentified man who had hanged himself in the house. Upon confirming the incident, Atahaba notified Police for action.
Inquiries opened vide Bushenyi DEF: 003/2025 and a team of detectives and Soco responded to the scene immediately, examined it and documented it. The body of the deceased was conveyed to Kabwohe Health Centre IV for postmortem.
The deceased was being traced on Charges Of Murder Vide Sheema CRB:094/2024 which he committed by killing his father on 09th/02/2025.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident stressing that inquiries are still at hand.
