NTUNGAMO – Two people have perished while other Two were citically injured in an accident along Ntungamo-Kabale Road in Ntungamo district.
The accident happened on Friday 31st January 2025 and involved box body built truck Reg No UBN 667W and Two motorcycles Bajaj Boxer Reg No UFQ 805K and Senke Reg No UDM 671K.
According to Mr Clinton Birugwomuriwe an eye witness, the accident happened near Rubaare Traffic Check Point and identified the deceased as Ezra of Omungyenyi and Dezi Karambuzi LCI Vice Chairperson Kyamugashe II Cell in Rwenanura-Kakukuru Town Council.
The eye witness who did not clearly identify the victims Said traffic police rushed to the scene and took the victims and bodies to Doctors Refferal Hospital Rubaare For Medical attention and postmortem respectively.
By Press time, the traffic Police had not issued any statement about the incident but the motorcycles and the motorvehicle were parked at Rubaare Police Station Pending IOV Inspection.
