BUSHENYI – Mr Twinomugisha Edwin commonly known as Ikondere Rya’ Bushenyi has officially confirmed that he is standing as Member Of Parliament for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality for the term 2026-31.
Edwin Twinomugisha is a son to the late Kahangye Anatori and Turashaba Jovita , a grandson to the late Mariko Kagwa, resident of Masya Village, Ruharo ward, Central Division in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality.
Twinomugisha Edwin is who is well known for being vocal and influencial especially when it comes to advocating for inclusivity and equity among his people is the first teacher of his kind to show interest in contesting for the Municipality’s big seat.
Speaking to this website, Ikondere said he will emphasize the importance of providing the means to solve a problem rather than a temporary solution.
Ikondere Rya’Bushenyi briefly explained his words using a common proberb; “Give a man fish and you feed him for a day or teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.
