BUSHENYI – Another road accident along Rubirizi-Ishaka road has nearly claimed life of a rider who is yet to be identified.
The accident happened at Kigoma at around 08:15pm on Tuesday 3rd December 2024 involving motorvehicle Reg No UAL 921B Suzuki white in Colour and Motorcycle Reg No UFL 043F Bajaj Boxer Red in Colour.
Its alleged that the rider was from the direction of Kyamuhunga heading to Ishaka at a high speed and when he reached Kigoma he lost control ramming into the vehicle which was parked on the roadside.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Ishaka Adventist Hospital (Ncwanga) for medical attention.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirms the incident stressing that both the Motorcycle and Motorvehicle are parked at Kizinda Police Station pending inspection by IOV as police inquiries continue.
