NEWS – Police in Bushenyi district are hunting for suspected assailants who allegedly murdered a 24 year Old man.
The deceased is Atukwatse Ambrose a munyankore casual labourer resident of Rushoroza LC1, Kizinda Town Council in Bushenyi district.
The deceased’s body was found leaning in a standing position on the barbed wire fence next to the pig’s sty with bruises on the waist by his employer Mr Meho Kishaki on Saturday 09th November 2024 at around 06:30am.
Police was notified and a case of suspected murder was registered vide Bushenyi CRB 949/2024, scene visited by a team of detectives and soco who recorded relevant statements and exhibited of a bottle of waragi, a spear, and a Torch from the scene. The body of thr deceased was retrieved to Kitagata Hospital for postmortem.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident stressing that police inquiries to identify and trace the suspects to be brought to book are still at hand.
