MITOOMA – A 5 year juvenile has been knocked dead by a speeding motorvehicle in Katenga town near Happy Angels Primary school along Ishaka – Mitooma road.
The accident happened on Thursday 3rd October 2024 at around 7:15pm and involved a motorvehicl e UBR 209R Toyota premio new model white in colour that was being driven by one Kasiimwe a resident of Mitooma town.
The deceased is Ahumuza Stuart a pupil at Happy Angels Primary School and resident of Katenga town, Katenga Sub County in Mitooma district.
Its alleged that the deceased was knocked while crossing the road, he was rushed to Doctor Bens Clinic but died on arrival and later the body was taken to Mitooma Health Center IV for postmortem.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident stressing that inquiries are still into the incident are still at hand.
