BUSHENYI – Parents have been challenged to always follow up their school going children as a way of ensuring their safety.
This message was sounded by Madam Nakalanzi Zamula, Headteacher Basajjabalaba Secondary School, Ishaka in Bushenyi district.
Madam Nakalanzi was talking to our reporter in an exclusive interview in his office at the official school opening day Monday 15th September 2024.

The Headteacher said most parents have a habbit of sending children to school and fail to follow up to know whether they have reached safely or know their condition at their respective schools, which she thinks gives children a chance to act the way they want and at the end get out of control.
Furthermore, She challenged parents to always bring children to school as early as the term starts so that they can be well equiped with knowledge especially candidates who are set to sit for their final level examinations for this year academic year 2024.
We talked to Nakacwa Shamia, Headgirl Basajjabalaba Secondary School who said they have already commenced learning and called upon fellow students to always report early to schools so that they are not left behind.
Basajjabalaba Secondary School offers both Arts and Science studies at O’ and A’ level with both day and boarding sections for all learners.
