KABALE- The territorial police in Kabale are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male adult, whose body was discovered at Rushera village Nyabushabi parish Kyanamira sub county Kabale district.
It’s alleged that on the 30/08/2024 in the morning hours, when people were going to their gardens, they found a dead body of unknown person on one of the hills in the area that was half naked as it was not dressed on the pair of trouser.
The Lc11 chairman one Mutana Lasmas was informed about it and he let the police officers of Kyanamira police station know about the matter, a report was made, a case file initiated and Kabale cps was accordingly informed as well.
The police visited the scene, processed and documented it, body found lying in a bushy hill with fresh cut wounds on it’s private parts and was taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
“Anyone missing the dear one should visit the hospital mortuary so that is identified and taken for a decent burial and whoever may be having information pertaining his death can volunteer it so that suspects are apprehended and charged accordingly”, Police appeals to the general public.
The Kigezi Police Spokesperson Asp Elly Maate confirmed this incident to press stressing that investigations are still ongoing.
