IBANDA – Police in Ibanda district are investigating circumstances that led to the cutting off of Mbabazi Catherine’s right hand.
It’s alleged that on Sunday 25/08/2024 at around 5pm at Bufunda 1cell Bufunda ward Bufunda Division Ibanda Municipality a one Alex attacked Mbabazi Catherine and cut off her right hand with a panga on allegations that she was engaged in an extramarital affair.
The victim was taken to Kasande Clinic in Ibanda Municipality for treatment but the suspect fled the scene to a yet to be known place.
The Rwizi Police Police Spokersperson Sp Samson Kasasira Confirms this incident to press stressing thag no arrests have been made yet but inquiries are still ongoing into the matter.
