BUSHENYI – Residents of Kyabumbeire Cell, Ruharo ward, Central division in Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality have been left in shock after one of the residents ended his life by hanging self in the kitchen.
The deceased is Rwabazungu Francis 54 years a farmer whose body was found hanging on a rope by his wife Jetulida Kyobuhwezi in the evening hours of Wednesday 30th October 2024.
The wife says she had left home at about 10am for prayers leaving the deceased with his daughter who is an embecile but when she came back she was shocked after finding the husband hanging dead on a rope in the kitchen, she immediately notified neighbours, relatives and chairman LC1 Mr Byaruhanga Elias 52 years who reported the incident at Bushenyi CPS for action and inquiries were commenced vide DEF: 022/2024.
Police detectives rushed, examined and documented the scene, recorded statements from relevant witnesses and conveyed the deceased’s body to Kampala International University Teaching Hospital for examination on postmortem.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirms the incident to our reporter stressing that inquiries are still at hand.
