Rugarama,Ntungamo – Men have been called upon to uphold integrity and endurance to win the love of their wives and build stronger families.
The appeal was made on Sunday by Venerable Rev. Denis Kunywana, Archdeacon of Rugarama Archdeaconry, while presiding over a mass wedding at St Paul’s Parish Murambi in Rugarama Sub-county, Rushenyi County.
The mass wedding was organized by Rev. Jovart Kutushabe Mbayo, the Parish Priest at St Paul’s Parish Murambi. Six couples exchanged vows during the ceremony.
Rev. Kunywana noted that marriage is not always easy, saying there are seasons of pressure and misunderstanding. “It’s all about looking for the solution to those challenges causing pressure and misunderstanding,” he said.
He challenged the newlyweds to remain faithful to each other and work together to uphold the commitment sealed by their vows. He also urged women to play their part in forming better families through mutual respect and cooperation.
