Kanungu, Uganda – The territorial police in Kanungu are still holding the body of an unidentified female adult, found tied with ropes in a sack and dumped in River Ntungwa.
The police spokesperson, ASP Maate Elly, is urging parents or relatives who may be missing a loved one to come forward and identify the body so it can be released for a decent burial.
The body was discovered on August 2, 2024, by young boys fishing in the river, and the police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
