Deputy Registrar Alternative Dispute Resolution, HW Godfrey Kaweesa, recently formally handed over the Lira High Court Registry to the incoming Assistant Registrar, HW David Sayuni Lira Hight Court Circuit, in a ceremony witnessed by the Head of Circuit, Lady Justice Margaret Apiny and Resident Judge, Lady Justice Sarah Birungi Kalibala, as well as members of staff.
The handover marked an important transition in administrative leadership at the Lira High Court.
During the ceremony, HW Sayuni was reminded of the Lira High Court Circuit’s vision of being the best circuit in customer satisfaction and performance. Emphasis was placed on sustaining high service standards, strengthening registry efficiency, and fostering teamwork to enhance public confidence in the Judiciary.
The Judges appreciated the dedication of the Registry team and encouraged continued commitment to excellence in advancing access to justice within the circuit.
