NATIONAL – Uganda’s Ministry Of Health has confirmed that Igara East Constituency, Bushenyi district will receive its ambulance as soon as its ready before the end of this year(2024).
The Ministry was responding to Bushenyi district LC5 Chairperson Mr Jaffari Basajjabalaba who on 9th September 2024 wrote a letter to the ministry about “following-up on the ambulance Number UG 7534M which was allocated to Igara East.
In a letter dated 31st October 2024 signed by the Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng, the ministry thanks Mr Jaffari for the concern for the emergency services especially for Bushenyians.
In the letter, the ministry states that the process of equiping all ambulances procured under Global Fund to meet the standard of type B is still on going.
“This is therefore to inform you that all ambulances are expected to be ready by the end of December 2024, and thereafter we shall communicate the actual date for picking”, the letter reads in its last paragraph.
