Good
This incident has left many families in this area at the danger of being affected by famine. All crops perenial and non perenial crops were destroyed beyond survival. I can see residents not be able to send their children back to school next term bse money of their incomes shall be diverted to buying food. If govt does not intervene rutoto shall have many school drop outs next year due to this calamity. We need your prayers. The president at one time visited this place and identified it as most vulnalable parish in western uganda where people are living in absolute poverty now this issue has added an insult to the already injured place. Govt mutuyambe. Our children are jobless even after acquiring education in difficult situations so the elderly have no support at all.
I greet you all in the Name of our creator. In my last posting i talked about the possibility of famine that was coming now and now its a testimony. We note that all banana plantations have dried up except few leaves that are coming up. The rains have stopped and we are experiencing the sun again. The Residents have replanted beans we pray that they survive the sun.
Our leaders have some times given the residents tips on modern methods of farming namely afforestation, malching, spacing of crops, intercropping, keeping animals on zero grazing for those with small spaces. I for one i advocate and urgue our residents to embrase farming as its the source of our livelihood.
I encourage the youth to work hard and forcus on their future by keeping their lives safe as they are the pillars of tomorow. They youth should not overlook any kind of job as long as they earn a living, more shall come in future.
All i wish you is a merry xmas a happy new year. Vote wise. Vote wise.
