Bushenyi,Uganda – On Saturday, 3rd October 2026, Hon. Katusiime Annette Mugisha joined the Bangirana family and the entire Kakanju community in Nyabubare A Village, Kakanju Parish, Kakanju Sub-county, Bushenyi District, for the send-off of their beloved father, Mzee Yorokamu Bangirana, who passed on at the age of 93.
In her condolence message, Hon. Katusiime thanked the people of Kakanju for the immense love and care they showed to Mzee Bangirana during his illness until his last breath.
She also highly commended the family of the late Mzee Bangirana for being cooperative, patient, and loving to their father, noting how delicate and demanding it can be to care for the elderly. She prayed that the Almighty Lord rewards the sons and daughters abundantly for their devoted service to their father.
Hon. Katusiime concluded by briefing mourners on various government programs that are set to be implemented within the Kakanju community to improve livelihoods and service delivery.
May the soul of Mzee Yorokamu Bangirana rest in eternal peace.
