BUSINESS – MTN Uganda has officially announced its sponsorship in the mbarara city festival 2024. The event that is scheduled for June 21st and 22nd 2024 is to celebrate Mbarara city status as a regional trade and hospital hub.
This has been announced by Tusubira Andrew head of commercial MTN Uganda at launch of Mbarara city festival 2024 held at Mbarara city council offices.
The festival that will take place at Booma grounds Mbarara city North will be under the theme ‘promoting Mbarara as a city of trade and tourism hub’, where all traders will show case their business.
Tusubira said that they are in pattern ship with Mbarara city council and private sector foundation to make it colourful. In this festival, there will be medical camps, exhibitions and cultural shows.
He said their sponsorship is a way of giving back to the community and appreciating their customers for making mtn the number one telecommunication company thus calling upon all traders to come and show case their goods, whether chapattis, cutex, among others.
