NTUNGAMO,UGANDA – Political and civil leaders in Ntungamo District, together with NRM chairpersons from all 34 sub-counties and town councils, have held a meeting at the Ntungamo District headquarters ahead of a planned endorsement of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the presidency from 2031 onwards.
The meeting was also used to announce the launch of the PLU Baraza in Ntungamo District, scheduled for 17th October 2026 at Rubaare Playgrounds.
During a press conference, leaders outlined the purpose of the planned endorsement and preparations for the PLU Baraza.
The gathering brought together local political and civil leaders and NRM representatives from across the district.
More details are expected to emerge from the ongoing press conference and subsequent activities leading up to the 17th October event.
