SHEEMA – Sheema North Parliamentary race has attracted a youthful and hard working woman madam Mary Katusiime, this website has learnt.
The Sheema North Paliamentary seat is currently held by Hon Naome Kibaju. However, one of our moles already got information that Mary Katusiime who owns an NGO Reach a Teenager Uganda (Western Uganda) based in Bushenyi district is already eyeing the constituency’s top seat.
In an extended conversation with our reporter ,Katusiime Mary confirmed as she wants to stand as Member of Parliament for Sheema North on NRM Ticket.
Katusiime Mary is a daughter to John Bebwa a resident of Kyabahaija ward, Kyangundu parish, Kakindo Town Council in Sheema district.
Having attended Kakindo Primary School and Rweibare senior Secondary School, she holds a diploma in accounting and finance from Uganda College of Commerce. She also holds Bachelors of Science in accounting and finance from team University Kampala.
In her study career she has been a trusted leader since at Kakindo Primary School she was the head girl then information prefect Rweibare SSS, Finace minister at UCC and team leader at team University.
She says she wants to represent the people of Sheema North and ensure standard service delivery in the area mostly, improving health, ensuring quality education, and other services such as good roads and electricity among others.
