RUBIRIZI,UGANDA — Rubirizi District Woman MP Hon. Jeniva Arinitwe Nalongo has supported the AMDEF Development Fund with over 2 Million Shillings in cash to help complete ongoing projects.
While addressing Christians at Rugazi Catholic Parish, Hon. Nalongo said the support is aimed at boosting community development and completing church projects in the area. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting both church and community initiatives in Rubirizi.
Hon. Nalongo is known for backing the construction of churches in the district. Recently, Team Nalongo Jeniva donated 600 bags of cement towards the construction of Rugazi Catholic Church and pledged further support.
In her remarks, the MP urged parents to work hard to develop their homes and create sources of income to fight poverty. She also called on residents to embrace a saving culture and prioritize educating their children, saying education is now an investment in families that helps fight ignorance in the community.
Hon. Nalongo further encouraged the community to continue building churches, noting that they play a big role in reconciling people, comforting them, and teaching good morals.
