Kampala, Uganda – The three-day orientation programme for Members of the 12th Parliament has commenced at the Parliamentary South Parking Yard.
At the start of each parliamentary term, newly elected MPs undergo an induction designed to ease their transition into legislative duties and responsibilities.
The programme seeks to familiarize members with Parliament’s institutional culture, legal framework, organizational structure, and the systems that guide its operations.

In his opening remarks, Clerk to Parliament Adolf Mwesige urged MPs to actively participate in the training, noting that it would enable them to effectively execute their constitutional mandate.
End.
