MBARARA – The Woman Member of Parliament Mbarara city Hon Ritah Atukwasa Bwahiika has challenged women and the entire citizens to mind about their hygiene in order to avoid various diseases.
Hon Atukwasa was speaking during the celebration of womens’ day for Rubaro ward held at Infantry school, Mbarara city north division
She noted that some people are no longer mindful about their eating habits and proper sanitation which put their lives at risk of getting infected by non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, ulcers, diabetes, cancers among others.
The Mbarara city North division Member of Parliament Hon Robert Mwesigwa Rukari also asked women to mind about bringing up the child their children with discipline as one way of nurturing them for a brighter future.
The Celebrations attracted diffrent categories of people including city leaders, religious leaders, City Councilors and all well wishers.
