Rubaare,Uganda – In a show of generosity, Hon. Jonan Muhumuza, popularly known as Taata Rushenyi, handed over UGX 20 million to the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) yesterday in support of its upcoming charity run.
The donation was made during a brief ceremony, where Muhumuza stressed the importance of giving back to the community. “It’s our duty as leaders to support initiatives that uplift our people,” he said.
PLU representatives thanked him for the contribution, saying it will go a long way in supporting vulnerable communities.
The charity run, aimed at raising funds for local development projects, has drawn significant interest in the area. Muhumuza’s donation has set a high standard for others to follow.
