BUSHENYI, UGANDA – Bushenyi District Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Kato Edison, a 42-year-old plumber and resident of Central Cell in Bushenyi District. According to preliminary reports, Edison checked into the lodge alone on October 27, 2025, and was found dead in his room the following morning.
The police responded promptly to the scene, managed it according to standard procedure, and conveyed the body to KIU Teaching Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
Edison’s death is suspected to be linked to his history of alcohol addiction, but further investigation is needed to confirm the circumstances surrounding his death.
