Kabale, Uganda – The territorial police in Kabale are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Zimulinda, a resident of Kihanga village, was reportedly a suspected cattle thief.
According to Officer Commanding Police (OC) Rwene, upon receiving the report, he discovered the body engulfed in flames. The scene was processed and documented by a Kabale Police team. The body was retrieved and transported to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrators are currently underway.
Police spokesperson ASP Maate Elly confirmed the incident and said investigations are ongoing.
