IBANDA – The police in Ibanda district are investigating a case of murder of Alinda Timothy male adult aged 25years munyankole by tribe a herdsman and resident of Kemitojo cell Bufunda Division Ibanda district.
It’s alleged that the deceased was relieved of his duties by his boss Dr. Munyiga Felician on 03/04/2024 at about 10:30am over complaints that he was a thief by fellow workers but in the morning of 04/04/2024 the manager of the farm informed Dr. Munyiga that the deceased was found on the farm premises badly injured with deep cut wounds on the head,legs and hands. He was then rushed to Kagongo hospital where he was shortly pronounced dead.
The matter was reported to Police and they visited the scene which was fully documented and the body was conveyed to Ruhoko HC IV for postmortem.
According to Rwizi Police Spokesman SP Samson Kasasira, two suspects were apprehended to help Police with the SP Samson Kinvestigations but inquiries into the matter are still ongoing.
