- BUSHENYI – Residents of Kashenyi 1, Kashenyi 2, Ryansana 1, Ryansana 2, Ihooza and Kyandago in Kashenyi ward, Ishaka Division have vowed to support Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba for his commitment towards supporting development.
The residents (most of them voters) were speaking to our reporter on Thursday and Friday this week as Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba was visiting their areas and sharing his ideology with them.
Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba who was overwhelmingly welcomed by excited masses gained more hopes of getting extra more support as residents gave testimony about his good deeds and vowed to support him until he achieves his goals.
It should be learnt that Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba has already shown his interest of standing as Member Of Parliament Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality for the term 2026-31.
He comes at a time when the Municipality’s top seat is being held by Hon Derrick Kabura Beimukye whom some of the residents who talked to this website claim that he has totally failed to perform his duties and convice voters to support him for the next term.

In Ryansana 1, Kashenyi ward, residents thanked Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba for supporting the Education Sector by putting bursaries and scholarships plus supporting free medical services at Kampala International University which serves as an indication to the support towards supporting lives in every condition.
Chairman LC1 Ryansana Cell Mr Charles Beinomugisha thanked Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba for initiating developmental projects in various parts of Municipality and asked residents to support him since he has already shown his commitment towards developing the area.
The race has already attracted other aspirants who include Tiwnomugisha Edwin commonly known as Ikondere, Chris Muganzi Enganzi Ya Municipality, Ndyakira Nickolas among others.
