NEWS – Police in Buhweju district have retrieved the body of a 20 year Old man from a water stream in Kasasira Village in Bitsya Sub County.
The body of the deceased (Musimenta Justus 20 years) was first seen by Gusimiriza Aaron who informed other locals and authorities and it was found in a water stream near the farm of Bamusiime on Thursday 5th December 2024 at around 7Pm.
The deceased who was suffering from epilepsy was staying with his grand parents Behakana George William and Ntenyi Faith of Karingoma Cell disappeared on Wednesday 4th December 2024 after taking supper with them until when his body was found in a water stream.
Police was on Friday 6th December at around 7am notified for action, they visited the scene with Detectives and Soco, then the body was examined by Dr Robert Abenawe and it was established that the cause of death was drowning.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirms the incident stressing that inquiries into the matter are still at hand.
