NEWS – Police in Greater Bushenyi are hunting for are hunting for a woman who tried to kill a bar maid for allegedly having a love affair with her husband.
The suspect is Wycline a wife to Amon a resident of Kalyango Village, Kajunju Parish in Kyabugimbi Sub County who poured hot water on Kyarimpa Allen 28 years a bar maid resident of Nyakabusya LC1, Muzira parish, Kyengyeyi Sub County in Sheema district causing her severe injuries on the face, chest and breasts.
Its alleged that the victim received a phone call from Amon (husband to the suspect) that there was someone who wanted to talk to her in Kalyango at Amon’s bar , while at the bar Wycline (wife to Amon) came and poured hot water on her there by sustaining severe burn injuries on her body.
A police case of causing grevious harm was opened up vide Bushenyi CRB 875/2024, statements recorded from some witnesses, victim issued with PF3, examined and report retrieved ,already on file.
The Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident stressing that the victim who had been admitted at Muzira Health Centre 3 in Sheema had already been discharged but the suspect is still on run though efforts are being made to have arrested and prosecuted.
