SHEEMA – The Resident District Commissioner has briefed residents about the ongoing National housing and population census NHPC process that will officially begin on Friday 10th May 2024 in the whole country.
RDC Muhiindo Mwiine Prikeria asked residents to preferably be at their respective homes and receive the census enumerators and give them the required information.
She noted that these enumerators will be easy to identify where she noted that they will be putting on official attire for NHPC.
She advised those with hostile dogs at their homes to keep them indoors during this process since they might attack the enumerators.
RDC Muhiindo warned any stubborn person() that may tend to steal or grab property that will be with the enumerators including the electronic gadgets noting that they will be handed according to the law once discovered noting that those are government properties.
The government of Uganda does this after every 10 years and will be a public holiday on 10th May 2024 according to RDC Muhiindo.
In security installed places like barracks, only trained serving soldiers will conduct this activity.
