BUSHENYI – Residents of Rwenyena 1 and Mwegura villages in Kitagata parish, Kyeizooba sub-county Bushenyi district have teamed up and worked on their community access roads which have been in poor state.
The residents who had pangas ,Hoes and Wheelbarrows worked on a 500 metre Mwengura -Rwenyena1 road which has been impassable
due to continued heavy rains.
Kazoora Josam , Defence Secretary Rwenyena 1 Village said that they decided to work on their road in order to curb accidents that had become rampant on the mentioned pass.
Led by Clayeford Kirenzi, residents noted that there is a need for residents to embrace community work since it can save government’s funds and alsomaintain proper service delivery.
