IBANDA – A man identified as Gumisiriza Fred is on run in Ibanda district for murdering a casual labourer identified as Adam.
The incident happened in Lugazi Village, Mabonwa Parish, Rukiri Sub County where the suspect slashed the deceased’s left arm leading to severe bleeding and later death in a clinic where the victim/deceased had been rushed for treatment.
The incident came when the suspect red handedly found the suspect enjoying love with his wife on their marital bed, Fred (suspect) used a sharp panga to cut Adam’s arm and later he fled the scene to a yet to be established destination.
According to Chairman LC1 Feleciano Kajoga, the deceased has been a casual labourer to Dr Tiberius Muhebwa and his full identity was not clearly known but was beleived to be from Rukungiri district.
Speaking to Mr John Beinomugisha the chairperson LC2, he warned residents against mob justice since its against Uganda’s constitution.
By press time, Police was yet to release a statement about the matter but investigations were at hand.
